One of the festivities during the national celebration of the Chinese New Year in The Hague on January 28, 2017 is the final of the Miss Impress contest in the Netherlands.
Miss Impress is a new international contest, this year for the first time in the Netherlands. In August were the preliminaries. More than a hundred candidates registered for the contest. Fifteen of them have been selected as finalist to compete for the title of Miss Impress. For the winner a valuable prize package is ready, including participation in international beauty contests and a flight to China.
On their way to the final, the Misses get catwalk training and there are photo shoots to prepare them for the final. The Misses are also present at various events throughout the country.During the final contest, the Misses will present themselves in several rounds on the catwalk in the Atrium. A renowned panel of judges will assess who will be crowned Miss Impress 2017.
